This course is available to both domestic and international students and is delivered in Korean. 

Course Description

Let us equip you for ministry - whatever form or style your ministry may take. Studying Ministry at AC will prepare you to address the complex questions from a thoughtful, biblical and theological framework, to be a courageous leader, to develop creative and innovative solutions, to promote social justice, to communicate effectively, as well as to encourage you to be a life-long worshipful person who embodies the message of Christ.


Course Structure

This course comprises 12 units of competency to be completed over 1 year full time or 2 years part time and consists of:

  • 5 core units
  • 7 elective units

To be awarded the Advanced Diploma of Ministry, students must show competency in 5 core and 7 elective units.

Entry Requirements

Essential Requirements: Nil.

Academic Requirements: Completion of 10036NAT Diploma of Ministry (Insert Stream) or demonstrate the necessary skills developed in the Diploma of Ministry (Insert Stream). Providing evidence of a capability in relation to spoken and written Korean, demonstrated by way of a 500-word written Statement of Purpose, explaining the reason for entering the course and an interview conducted by the Registrar’s Office.

Recommended Requirements: No IELTS requirements.

This course is available for students who are 18 years or older. Domestic students under the age of 18 may apply and may be included. Applications on a case by case basis. A high level of personal integrity and willingness to comply with ethical requirements.

Two character references (preferably from a leader and not from a family member).

Work-Integrated Learning

Students must complete a vocational subject each semester with 6.5 hours’ placement a week in a church/institution.

This course equips students for various ministries in churches, parachurch and other organisations, including: children’s ministry, worship ministry, youth and young adult ministry, families work, leadership and more. Australia has a growing Korean (diasporic) church and there are many opportunities for skilled people to serve and use their gifts.
